"Hey there, my fur-tastic friends!  Welcome back to The Monkey the Cat Podcast! I’m Monkey, your favorite talking cat. Today’s lesson is about something really important—it’s not about being the strongest or the fastest… it’s about being brave when you face something tricky on your own.

Our lesson today? Bravery grows when you solve problems independently.

Now let me tell you a little story about how I learned this myself—during what I now call... The Stuck Toy Challenge."

The Stuck Toy Challenge.""It all started one sunny afternoon. I was playing with my favorite jingly ball, batting it all over the living room. Zoom left! Zoom right! Jingle jingle jingle! Then—oops!—the ball rolled under the couch. Waaay under. Out of sight. I peeked underneath. It was dark. I could barely see the shiny ball. My tail twitched. Brooklyn came over.'Want me to move the couch for you?' Teddy offered,'I can grab a broom!' Max flapped his wings.'I’ll dive in head first!' I smiled. They were being such good friends. But something inside me whispered: What if I try first? So I said,'Thanks, everyone. Let me give it a shot first.' Brooklyn wagged.'You got this!' Teddy nodded.'We’re here if you need us.' Max chirped.'Go, Monkey!'""I crouched low and stretched my paw—too short! Then I grabbed a wooden spoon—too slippery! Next, I tied a string around a small hook. Carefully, I slid it under the couch. Slow… steady… looped the ball… and—SNAG!—I pulled it out!'YES!' I cheered. Brooklyn wagged.'You solved it yourself!' Teddy smiled.'That’s brave, Monkey!' Max squawked.'Brave and clever!' And that’s when I realized: Bravery isn’t about big adventures. It’s about trying—even when something feels hard. Every time we solve a problem ourselves, our bravery grows.""So here’s my challenge for YOU: This week, when you face a tricky task—try it yourself first. And remember—it’s okay to ask for help, too! But trying first helps you build inner strength and courage. Thanks for tuning in to The Monkey the Cat Podcast! Bye for now!"
