"Patience, Not Speed, Often Wins the Day" Episode 63
"Hey there, my fur-tastic friends! Welcome back to The Monkey the Cat Podcast! I’m Monkey, your favorite talking cat, and today we’re slowing things down for a lesson that took me a while to learn—because, well… I’m usually in a hurry.
Today’s lesson? Patience, not speed, often wins the day.
Sometimes, being fast isn’t the best way forward. Sometimes, it’s about waiting, watching, and taking your time—even when you're super excited or feel like rushing ahead."

Sometimes, it’s about waiting, watching, and taking your time—even when you're super excited or feel like rushing ahead.""It all started when we had a backyard maze race. Max set it up—twists, turns, dead ends, and secret paths.‘Ready, set, GO!’ he squawked, and I dashed in, zooming like my tail was on fire. Left, right, spin, backtrack, spin again! I was flying—until I wasn’t. Dead end. Then another. Then a third. Meanwhile, Teddy, slow and steady, was calmly making his way through the maze. He paused. Thought. Took one turn at a time. Guess who made it out first? Yep. Teddy. Brooklyn trotted out soon after. Even Olivff beat me, notebook in paw, observing every turn. And me? I was still spinning in circles near the middle.""Later, as we sipped lemonade, Teddy said,‘Sometimes thinking first is faster than running fast.’ And he was right. Patience helps you see clearly. Rushing makes you miss the signs. Going slower doesn't mean giving up—it means being smart. That’s when I realized: Patience, not speed, often wins the day.""So here’s my challenge for YOU: This week, take your time on something. Pause before answering. Think before rushing. Because slowing down might just get you farther. Thanks for tuning in to The Monkey the Cat Podcast! Don’t forget to subscribe, share, and remember—patience isn't weakness. It's wisdom. Until next time—stay thoughtful, stay steady, and remember: slow paws still cross the finish line. Bye for now!"
